A Tale of Two Festivals

2nd Liverpool International Psychedelic Festival

Last year Liverpool's Camp & Furnace venue hosted Liverpool's 1st Annual International Psychedelic Festival and so one year on it's time for the 2nd one then - that's the way it works. Last year was one day crammed with bands from all over the psychedelic spectrum - and let's be honest, beyond. This time the festival is over two days (27th - 28th September) but is being hosted at the same venue.

There is of course even more music, and probably more spread still of the interpretation of the word - I saw Novella at Leaf last year and unless they've changed a lot then… Any hoo there is so much on and I'm looking forward to spending a good few hours their over the next two days.

Liverpool PyschFest

St.George's Hall Beer Festival

Okay that's Festival No.1 of the weekend, but I'll be tackling that with something of a beer sandwich as that's the way I roll (well, I'm working the first Liverpool Organic Brewery Beer Festival to be held at St. George's Hall). Assuming I've hit it right then I should be able to get back for some more tuneage back at the Camp & Furnace*. It promises to be a most interesting and packed weekend. Where's me ProPlus?

Expect photo's and write ups for both events - though mainly for the music fest.

Bring it on people!
